A bit of a speed drawing I did months ago.
...She was originally the wife of a samourai, whom she married at the age of 15 and had a son and a daughter from. But, a few years later, her husband fell from honor, and felt he could only redeem himself through suicide. But he decided to leave this world together with his whole family, and he planned to slaughter his wife and children before setting his house on fire and committing Seppuku. She did what she could to resist him, but was still knocked down and heavily wounded. She survived that cruel day... her face half burnt by the fire, and missing an arm because of her former husband, her life now filled with sadness and anger... She took her husband's sword, and trained herself alone for years as a ronin. Since then, she's been wandering the roads, trying to kill every honor-drunk samourai she finds on her path, as revenge for her cruel fate. |

Very sad story. Very angry looking woman. I must say, I'm used to seeing burn marks, so I have to say it looks interesting. She's lucky she still has hair if the burns came that close to her scalp.
