Yeah, I know, it's not "very" original

for those who don't what a kappa is, well, I guess I will just put here what you can found on wikipedia:

Kappas are legendary creatures; a type of water spirit found in Japanese folklore. However they are also considered to be a part of cryptozoology, due to apparent sightings. In Shintoism they are considered to be one of many suijin (literally "water-deity").
The most notable feature of the kappa, however, is the water-filled depressions atop their heads. These cavities are surrounded by scraggly hair, and this type of bobbed hair style is named okappa-atama for the creatures.
Kappa are mischievous troublemakers and, in fact, small children are one of the gluttonous kappa's favorite meals, though they will eat adults as well.
Kappa are not entirely antagonistic to mankind, however. They are curious of human civilization, and they can understand and speak Japanese. hey may even befriend human beings in exchange for gifts and offerings, especially cucumbers, the only food kappa are known to enjoy more than human children.


so normally, as long as she eat her cucumber, you should be ok

the clothes, and particulary the pareo, are real kappa clothes (or at least, very inspired from them).

The answer was SAIPH Lovely name isn't it?

Why Saiph you would ask? it's very simple:
The stars in the background aren't placed randomly, but are in fact the Orion constellation. And, the kappa girl is stepping exactly where should be one of the major stars of this constellation: Kappa Orionis.

and the common name of Kappa Orionis is Saiph, which means "sword" in arab (because it was at the place of the "sword of the giant" in the arab view of the constellation).

So the clue was a big help after all ^^ I could have gice "star" but then, just by google "kappa star" you will get the answer on wikipedia on the firstpage, so, it was way too easy...
